Responsibilities
Assigned responsiblities in teaching, research, and extension with primary thrusts in Management of Nutrients, Pesticides and Waste areas. The overall goal of this position is to evaluate fertilizer materials relative to their influence on the growth of turfgrasses and the soil groundwater environment. This is primarily an applied research position with significant turf industry interaction. Extension efforts are directed towards educational programs which inform the turfgrass and related industries in principles of soil fertility and fertilization. There is also considerable interaction with DACS personnel involving the registration of fertilizer materials.
